Our maker workshops are designed to introduce you to the technology we have to offer in The Forge:
We also offer a wide variety of artistic workshops focused on painting, sewing, jewelry making, floral arrangement and so much more! See The Forge class schedule here.
Cranberry Library is looking for artists to teach workshops in The Forge Makerspace. From painting to 3D printing and everything in between, we want to share your knowledge and skills with Library patrons!
Scheduling is very flexible, and paid opportunities are available. If you’re a skilled artist that has never taught before - our experienced staff are happy to guide you through the process! Contact theforge@cranberrylibrary.org to learn more.
Dream, design, collaborate and create at The Forge
Thanks to our generous donors and CTCC, The Forge has been open since 2021. Similar to makerspaces in our schools, our space features a laser engraver, 3-D printers, computer-controlled cutting machines, an embroidery sewing machine, electronics and a variety of specialized hand tools for crafting.
Library patrons are welcome to register for classes. After demonstrating mastery of the equipment, they will be able to design and create their own projects. Experience isn’t required! We’ll teach you to use the equipment. The Forge offers a safe, creative space to learn, create, explore and come together with other makers.
