As part of Cranberry’s Community Connections Sidewalk project, a new segment is planned at the corner of North Boundary and Franklin Roads. The owner of two adjacent houses fronting on Franklin Road has granted pedestrian easements and temporary construction easements to the Township to build the walkway. At its July 25 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors accepted the grants with a view to construction this year. Once completed, together with sidewalks built as part of the Willow Grove and Park Meadows plans, the sidewalk will connect all the way to North Boundary Park from Washington Farms.
